This training provides essential knowledge of PTW principles, hazard identification, risk assessment, and signatory responsibilities to ensure safe, compliant, and controlled worksite operations.

  • Able to understand and write simple English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Sufficient working experience (minimum 6 months and above) in related Oil and Gas operations.

The objectives of the Permit To Work (Applicant) Training are that learners will be able to:

  • Demonstrate good knowledge in managing hazards at the worksite.
  • Understand the purpose and how to perform Job Hazard Analysis (JHA).
  • Understand the purposes of PTW & its requirements.
  • Describe roles & responsibilities of the respective signatories involved in PTW system.
  • Demonstrate good knowledge in PTW processes: Application, Suspension, Shift Handover /Revalidation, close out and under Emergency situation.
  • Conduct toolbox talk / TRIC.
  • Understand the purpose of PTW quality audit.
