While practical elements are excluded, the training emphasizes theoretical knowledge required to support and assist in safe lifting operations.

Information

As a Banksman, one must not only coordinate the lifting crew and signal the crane operator, but also maintain situational awareness to protect people, property, and equipment in the surrounding area. This training emphasizes safety leadership, hazard identification, effective communication, and adherence to industry standards.

Basic Rigging

A valid or current offshore medical, or possess an operator approved medical, and/or undergo medical screening form in SEQU.

The objectives of the Banksman Training are that learners will be able to:
