This Authorised Gas Tester - Open Space (Petronas Approved) training is designed for personnel who are required to carry out atmospheric gas testing in open space environments prior to and during hazardous activities such as hot work.

Information

The training provides essential knowledge and practical skills to safely test, interpret, and evaluate atmospheric conditions in accordance with regulatory and site requirements.

A valid or current offshore medical, or possess an operator approved medical, and/or undergo medical screening form in SEQU.

The objectives of the AGT Training are that learners will be able to:

  • Understand the Gas Testing History.
  • Understand the related OSH regulatory.
  • Understand Atmospheric Testing (What it is and the reason for it).
  • Understand various atmospheric testing equipment (Operation, use, capabilities, limitation, etc).
  • Understand Confined Spaces Testing.
  • Understand Hot Work Testing.
  • Demonstrate Competency via Hands-on practice and written Evaluation.
